I absolutely LOVED working with this sweet family during their special in-home lifestyle session in Carmel, IN! Their kiddos and I clicked right away and they had all sorts of stories for me! Anyone who knows me, knows that I adore children and can spend hours listening to all of their fun ideas. Speaking of fun ideas, these three had their creative juices flowing from minute one and were the ones to pick out all of the spots in their home they wanted to take pictures! I hope I get to work with this beautiful family again in the future! Maybe we will cross paths when we all visit family in Michigan! Until then, I hope they have a stress-free and safe move!

When your dad is involved in helping improve the community you’re being born into with awesome political goals laid out and your parents had an Indiana themed wedding, you kind of decide early on (in the womb) that you want to be patriotic too! Jackson’s due date was at the end of June but he decided to arrive on the 4th of July! What’s even funnier is Jack, his dad, almost arrived the same day but ended up being born on the 5th! Not only did I call that he would join us on the 4th of July, I also called that he would be handsome! I have loved capturing Emily and Jack’s exciting milestones from their wedding to their first anniversary to their maternity and now I get to capture Jackson’s first year milestones! During his lifestyle newborn session at their home in Cicero, he was wide awake and extra expressive for us! I already adore this cutie pie and cannot wait to watch him grow!

LIFESTYLE ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY | AUDREY + HUNTER | CARMEL, IN
The day before Thanksgiving was a dark and gloomy one here in Indianapolis--not ideal for this sweet couple's outdoor engagement session we had been planning. A few hours before our set start time, I threw out some ideas on having a cozy lifestyle session at our place in Carmel, IN instead and I must say...we loved it! I had a blast working with Audrey and Hunter and photographing them in such a relaxed and carefree environment. It was definitely dark with all the overcast outside our big windows but their sweet photos turned out beautifully! Michael and I can't wait to photograph their wedding in Indianapolis at St. Louis and the Montage next winter! Hopefully we have a snowy wonderland for their portraits!
