When Christina announced that she and Joe were expecting their first little one, I got so excited! It feels like just yesterday, we were capturing their wedding day and then a few months later, jetting off to the Dominican Republic to capture her sister’s destination wedding! We’ve made so many awesome memories with this sweet couple and I cannot wait to meet their little girl! They are clearly so over the moon and in love with her already. They will be such fabulous parents!

Morgan and Stephen dreamed up a romantic wedding day complete with an upscale getting ready location, touches of fall color tones and a dreamy ceremony setting in the woods. Morgan looked so beautiful in her Ti Adora gown and smooth, luscious curls! Stephen and his groomsmen wore navy tuxes that meshed perfectly with the deep mauve of the bridesmaids’ tulle gowns. All of their florals were a gorgeous mix of the best fall has to offer and amplified their elegant styling perfectly! Our favorite part of their day was watching them exchange little looks at each other throughout their ceremony while the echoing of birds’ songs rang out through the trees. It was an absolutely magical day, fit for any Disney princess or Disney lover, like Morgan! I can still hear “Miracles Happen” from her getting ready playlist as I edit their photos—and I LOVE it! We hope these two enjoyed their honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico!

Justin & Francesca | A Dreamy Engagement on a Hazy Early Fall Evening | Indianapolis Destination Wedding Photographers
This engagement is an extra special one to me because it involves my cousin, Justin, and his bride-to-be, Francesca! Growing up, Justin was more like a little brother and I still see him that way today. He was a groomsman in our own wedding and now has found the love of his life! Francesca is such an awesome addition to our family and has been so fun to get to know! I’m thrilled I get to help them with their wedding plans and we will have the honor of capturing the most important parts of their big day, experiencing all of it by their sides. The evening of their engagement session was SO beautiful! We were blessed with a dreamy, hazy night that was filled with light. These two were so easy to photograph—even though they claimed they are super awkward in front of the camera. I don’t see it, do you?! It was so fun capturing just how smitten these two are for each other. I can’t wait to see all of their plans come together on their wedding day next year!

Every year, I capture Darcy’s annual portraits and every year, the sass becomes more and more alive! We had so much fun adventuring through one of my favorite parks in Carmel last week. We saw woodpeckers, turtles and LOTS of mosquitos. It may not feel like fall, but we had a beautiful evening filled with golden fall vibes and the result was so beautiful. It matched perfectly with all of the REAL smiles and giggles I was able to get out of this silly gal! Also, she rocks a jean jacket better than anyone I know! Such a cutie.

Stephanie and Ryan are absolutely adorable. No, seriously. When Ryan turned around for their first look, his face went straight into Stephanie’s shoulder as he couldn’t stop the tears from flowing. Both cried and giggled at each other for a good half hour before they were able to “get their allergies under control.” And we loved it! The morning of their wedding day may have had quite a few mishaps more than they would have preferred, but you wouldn’t have even noticed it by how these two handled it all. Stephanie designed all of the florals and oh how dreamy they turned out! The setting of their ceremony looked like a painting, blending perfectly with their romantic and elegant theme. There was so much love and joy surrounding them and we feel truly blessed to have been able to capture such a special day. Our cheeks even hurt when we left from the amount of smiling we were doing from working with them all day! We hope these two enjoy their time as newlyweds, visiting all the places in Indianapolis they haven’t had a chance to yet!
