Here’s to Mr & Mrs Flaa!

The night before Lizzy and Luke were to be married at their home church in Carmel, IN, their photographer ended up in the hospital. I got a call from Luke’s aunt asking if we were available and it just so happened to be our one October opening! A few minutes later, I was chatting with Luke and Lizzy, learning all about the intimate wedding ceremony they were planning. The next day, we met this sweet couple and jumped right into capturing their beautiful day just as if they had been on our calendar for a year! It was such a perfect day, filled with light and a soft fall breeze. We are thrilled we were available to capture this special time in their lives. We hope these two have been enjoying their first couple weeks of married life!

The Dumas Family | A Joyful Fall Family Photography Session in the Leaves | Noblesville Photographer

The Dumas family is so photogenic! Am I right?! I cannot get over this sweet, polished family and their ability to ROCK a mini photography session! Would you believe me if I told you that the little cutie you see is only a kindergartener?! I could not believe it! He is so tall and did such a fabulous job taking direction during the shoot! We met at one of my favorite parks in Noblesville on what was quite literally the most beautiful fall evening that was filled with gorgeous colors! Overall, I had SO much fun working with them and I can’t wait to do it all again for their next set of portraits!

Darcy | A Golden Ten Year Milestone Photography Session | Noblesville Child & Family Photographer

Darcy is TEN! I cannot believe it! In case you have missed her annual portrait updates each year, this is my sassy cousin/goddaughter and I adore her. She is funny, smart and a ball of energy. This year, we ventured through one of my favorite parks that Michael and I take walks at and now I’m adding it to my list of session locations because it is SO beautiful! She even told me I needed to. HA! Also, she has become a pro at the fake laugh—clearly she took notes from last year’s session. Her fake laugh had me laughing along with her, which in turn made her offer up some REAL giggles! As always, I had so much fun working with this chicken nugget and I can’t wait to see what this year brings for her.

Here’s to Mr & Mrs Peters!

Mallory and Seth’s fall wedding may have felt more like late summer, but it was still absolute perfection! There was a light breeze that stuck around all day, complimenting the warm sun as well as their stunning portraits. Mallory was truly radiant and seeing Seth’s face during their first look was extremely special to be a part of. He was beside himself! It was adorable! We had such a great time working with these two. They are prime examples of how you want to just “go with the flow” on your wedding day because things will happen that are out of your control but you can’t dwell on them. It was wonderful to see them embrace all of the best moments of their big day, no matter what! We hope these two have enjoyed their honeymoon in Charleston, South Carolina and Lexington, Kentucky!
