Back in the fall of 2019, we traveled up to Chicago to capture these two on a super chilly and windy evening for their engagement! It was bright and golden and oh so romantic. Lakeshore in Love even featured their stunning session! Fast forward to the spring of 2020 where they had to call off their beautiful wedding due to the shutdown. They still were able to sign the papers and enjoy their day together but it was not at all what they had pictured. Now, they are expecting their first little one and asked us to come visit them for their maternity session! Obviously, we were so down because we absolutely loved working with them! We met at the beach that lines Lake Michigan, just on the edge of Chicago’s Gold Coast. The sun was just peeking out from behind the park and it was definitely cold but these two (and Luna!) were such troopers! They made this session look like it truly was a warm spring morning and laughed through all of the chill. It was such a magical session and we had the absolute best time working with them again!

Katy and David are engaged! Although they are planning a summer garden wedding, we ventured out into the snowy woods for a stunning winter engagement session! These two were such champs at braving the snow and were down to get extra chilly by throwing some around—and it was absolutely worth it! They are so adorable and we cannot wait to capture their big day!

Ashley and Kevin met us just after our first good snow and it was such a dreamy session! The early evening light was extra bright but it just emphasized the beauty of the park. Ashley and I were BFF’s in high school and it was so great seeing her again and finally getting to meet Kevin! I’m super glad they brought along their sweet pups for us to meet as well! I’m always here for fur baby kisses! Overall, it was such a fun, relaxed engagement. We cannot wait to capture their big day!

As soon as I saw Stephanie step out in that gorgeous dress, I knew it was about to be an awesome engagement session! When I saw her dress and hair blowing in the only breeze available throughout the park, in that wide open clearing, I got even more excited! To say the English countryside and Jane Austen vibes were happening is an understatement. And I LOVE it. If you know me, you know I’m a bookworm and I’m obsessed with Pride & Prejudice (book and movie—the Kiera Knightley version, of course). Stephanie and Ryan rocked their session and it shows in these photos! I can’t wait to work with them again very soon when we capture their beautiful wedding day!
Hannah & Cody | A Pastel Snow Engagement Photography Session in Noblesville | Indianapolis Destination Wedding Photographers
Well, we finally got a good snow in 2020 so I packed up my gear and headed out to capture some awesome engagement sessions! Hannah and Cody were my second pair to enter the woods for this beautiful and dreamy winter engagement in Noblesville, Indiana. Even though it was only a dusting, it looked like the inside of a snow globe and their outfits paired so beautifully with it! I had so much fun laughing through their session with them as we moved swiftly to beat the incoming rain—and we did! I can’t wait to capture their big day later this year! It’s bound to be a fun one!
