Sammi + Drew | Classic with a Touch of Rustic Wedding | Woodland Country Club - Carmel, IN

Fine Art Indianapolis Destination Wedding Photographer

Here's to Mr & Mrs Hall!

Oh my goodness...where to begin?! This wedding day was the most fun to capture! Not only are Sammi, Drew and their loved ones amazing, but it was a day filled with familiar faces! A little backstory, Sammi and I actually went to high school together! We hadn't seen each other since graduation so catching up at her initial bridal meeting and during the journey to the big day was such a wonderful experience! After finally meeting Drew, I just loved seeing the adoration in his eyes every time he looked at Sammi. Their bond is so strong and I cannot wait to watch their marriage flourish. Their little one, Ben, is just a light! He is such a kind-hearted little boy with a smile and a hug for everyone around him. There were numerous people throughout the day that I had a chance to catch up with, making the day fly by so quickly. By the time it was time for Michael and I to leave, we didn't want to! We LOVE wedding days like this. The ones that draw us in, even after so many hours of shooting. We left with hugs all around, smiles on our faces and giggles escaping on the way to the car as we reflected on the day. We are so glad that we were available to capture this simplistic wedding day in Indianapolis and Carmel, IN. The rustic touches added to the classic venues and attire made for such a lovely combination. It was a beautiful day and we can't wait to work with these amazing people on their future milestones.

Lauren + Carey | DIY Dream Wedding in the Woods | Zionsville, IN

Fine Art Indianapolis Destination Wedding Photographer

Here's to Mr & Mrs Goodspeed!

Lauren and Carey are the definition of hopeless romantics...and we love it! Both are artistic and radiated happiness the entire day. They met seven years ago and the second time they met, Carey asked Lauren to be his girlfriend. How cute is that?! On a trip to Colorado to see their favorite band, Carey popped the question with a family heirloom ring in the middle of adventuring Red Rocks. Their longstanding relationship has allowed them to grow as individuals as well as a couple together. Their background allowed their guests to be over the moon for the two of them, as they have watched them grow. Their wedding day felt like a romantic Colorado destination wedding in the woods. Not only was the early fall scenery dreamy, so was their love for one another. When the groom cries from pure joy on and off throughout the wedding day, you know there is an unbelievable amount of love there! The two wrote each other love letters and read them prior to their first look. I watched Lauren light up while Michael watched Lauren's letter touch Carey. Those letters set the tone for the rest of their day, and it was wonderful. Their first look was so sweet. Carey could not keep his eyes off of Lauren as she could not stop smiling. She wore a beautiful vintage dress while he wore a trendy fitted blue suit. To say Lauren went above and beyond to create the most romantic setting for her and Carey's wedding on Saturday is an understatement. She designed everything flawlessly and had a wonderful team of loved ones to help her execute it all. Their wedding truly proved the phrase, "it takes a village" to be truthful! Decor from Etsy, Goodwill and more locations as well as some handmade items such as the hand dyed gauze table runners all meshed together beautifully. Fine china, ribbon draped bouquets, vintage candlesticks and a tall donut tower created by the groom were some of our favorite touches. Although the date and changing leaves offered the impression of a cool, fall wedding day. We were all shocked with full sun and heat in the upper 80s! Their loved ones were so kind and excited for these two beautiful souls. The entire group was a dream to work with! We cannot say congratulations enough to Lauren and Carey! We hope they enjoy their honeymoon cruise to Jamaica and Mexico!

Here's to Mr & Mrs Land!

Megan and Eric celebrated their love with nearly 200 of their closest loved ones at the Lodge at River Valley Farm. Attendees traveled from near and far, including the bride and groom! The two planned their beautiful Indiana wedding all the way from San Fransisco, California! Everything came together so perfectly for their special day. Their guests have been awaiting this day since the lovebirds met on the bus in middle school! Seeing the joy radiate from their guests faces all day was such a wonderful feeling. The love and excitement just added to the beautiful scene they created with tones of blue, blush, ivory and gold. The greenery flowed beautifully with the lovely atmosphere of the lodge and it's surrounding land. Overall, the day was elegant, rustic and perfect. Their Vows

Megan,
I am so excited to finally marry you today! It’s hard to believe that you have been my best friend and partner for close to 10 years now! On behalf of my family, thank you for your patience. They were getting worried you were going to kick me to the curb. Over these past 10 years, I’ve cherished every moment we’ve had together, from when we met on the bus in middle school, through falling in love in high school and college, to starting our life together in Virginia, and then continuing our journey in California. I know that I only have one life on this Earth and I am so grateful I get to spend mine with you. You never cease to amaze me with your passion, curiosity, authenticity and kindness. I love your ability to dream the big dreams, and your fierce drive to make those dreams a reality, is an inspiration to me every day. I love that you can always make me smile. Whether it’s because of your obsession with
Christmas, the Green Bay Packers, or, of course, our pup, Sadie Sue.

I promise to always be your companion in all of our travels and hiking adventures.
I promise to always be your biggest fan and supporter in all your endeavors.
I promise to always be honest, communicate openly, or when you need it, just simply listen, as you ramble.
I promise to always be there for you, through all of life’s ups and downs.
And most of all, I promise to love you, forever and always.

Eric,
For almost 10 years, you’ve been my very best friend and my once-in- a-lifetime
love. While this moment may feel like it’s been a long time coming, I think it feels
like we’re finally going home.
What some people don't know is that our story started long before we started
dating. First, you were the boy that teased me on the school bus in fifth grade.
Then, you were the boy who played in a band and really liked Nirvana. Finally,
thanks to fate and a high school basketball game, you became so much more.
We were just kids when we fell in love. It was overwhelming but in a heartbeat,
you showed me in everything that you did and everything you still do, there was
no question, you were my person. You balance out every part of me. You’re the
calm to my crazy, the voice of reason to my emotional side, and the listening ear
to my endless talking.
I know we've made a lot of promises the past 10 years. Today, I want to make a
few more before we make this thing official.

I promise to always trust your direction, whether it's on a hike, on a road trip, or in
life. Because we both know I can't be trusted with a map.
I promise to always give you the crispy French fries, the biggest bowl of popcorn,
and to make sure I'm not just hungry before I yell at you.
I promise to give you all the affection, cuddles and forgiveness I give Sadie Sue.
I promise to support your boldest dreams and encourage your passion,
determination, and even your stubbornness, because those are the things I have
always loved about you.
Finally, I promise to love you, exactly as you are, for all of my yesterdays,
especially today, and all the days to come.

Shannan + Paul | Modern Whimsical Summer Wedding | Indianapolis, IN

Fine Art Indianapolis Destination Wedding Photographer

Here's to Mr & Mrs Stanley!

Shannan and Paul's love for each other is infectious! These two were so overtaken with joy at becoming one that they sobbed through their first look...and it was adorable! They read their handwritten vows to one another along a wooded tree line and twirled atop the damp grass. Smiles never left their faces while they were at each other's sides. We had a wonderful time working with them and their loved ones at their wedding in Indianapolis, IN. The two of them danced the night away as soon as open dance began, along with all of their excited guests! The party was poppin' as the beer and wine flowed. An array of beautiful and delicious cakes were sliced and served for the attendees to enjoy while casually chatting at relaxed table settings. Their day was very them and perfect in every way. We hope these two have had a wonderful honeymoon in the Dominican Republic!
