I met Lacey and Dan in college and they have stuck as some truly great friends to Mike and I through the years. Lacey is one of my pledge class sisters from Delta Gamma and I’m pretty sure Dan has been in the picture ever since Lacey came into my life freshman year. Needless to say, these two have been near and dear to my heart for almost ten years now! Wow—that is just crazy to me!
Fast forward to this past summer. Michael and I were getting ready to leave our house to meet them at the 4H Fair when I got a new inquiry email. When I opened it, I found this message:
”SURPRISE!!!! :) of course we wouldn’t want our pictures done by anyone else! Due Feb 20!!”
Of course, I “eeped” like any true friend would at the exciting news before reality hit me. These two decided to tell me they were pregnant through an email—who does that?! Ha! I am SO excited to meet their little girl next month and can’t wait to spoil her rotten! Keep an eye out for their newborn session soon! She’s going to be such a little cutie—I just know it!
