Here's to Mr & Mrs Atkinson!

Kara and Nathan have been on our calendar for nearly two years so we were thrilled to finally watch them say "I do" last Saturday! These two have been such a joy to work with and we cannot wait to work with them again! Kara and Nathan are both kind, fun-loving individuals who truly are the perfect match. Their love of music and attending concerts played a significant role in their industrial chic wedding at the Biltwell Event Center in Indianapolis, IN. Their guests were gifted with custom CDs of their favorite love songs--how cool is that?! Shades of white, purple and green covered the tables at their reception, softening the industrial building's brick, wood and iron design. Their day was a breeze and totally laid back thanks to their relaxed, go with the flow personalities. We could tell that every guest had a blast celebrating Kara and Nathan, as did we! We hope they have enjoyed their honeymoon in St. Lucia this past week!

ERIN + ADAM | Morning Engagement on Campus | Indiana University - Bloomington, IN

Erin and Adam were the perfect dose of caffeine Sunday morning! Their infectious laughter made for such a fun engagement session while exploring the Indiana University campus. The sun was out, the campus was nearly empty and the flowers were in full bloom! We could tell how much these two love their alma mater by the way they reminisced at every spot we visited. It was so sweet seeing how much Erin lit up when she showed us the spot they met near the entrance of Teter. These two are a perfect match and we can't wait to capture their wedding day!

MOLLY + JOSH | A Whimsical Summer Garden Wedding | Indiana University - Bloomington, IN

Where to begin with Josh and Molly...they're AMAZING. Short and sweet. These two were truly one of our favorite couples to date! Our cheeks ached so much by the end of the day from the continuous laughter and smiles we shared with them and their loved ones. They had a fantastic bridal party that was extremely friendly and easy to chat with throughout the day. Not to mention, they were insanely helpful! Planning a wedding all the way from Texas would have been even more difficult if Molly had not have had her Maid of Honor, Mary, helping her along the way. This wedding was a true team effort and everything fell together flawlessly! Molly selected pure summer tones of succulent green, spa blue and bellini peach to bring out the greenery surrounding their venue on the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Overall, it was a spectacular event that we are sure this awesome couple will cherish the memories of for a lifetime. We wish they lived closer because we feel as though we have known them our entire lives after just one day together! I'd like to also note that this is the first wedding we have photographed where the bride and groom toasted US at the end of the night! Not only did it make us laugh, it made us feel great after hearing the kind words they shared with us on their experience working together. It was the perfect way to end a beautiful wedding day. Now, it's our turn to toast THEM!

Kendra + Derek | Sunset Engagement at the Park | Carmel, IN

I loved working with Kendra and Derek as soon as we started! These two were a bowl of laughs and energy, making for a fun session and beautiful photos. When I have a groom tell me he loves out of focus photos, I know they are my dream clients! We chatted about soft focus images and how they are so romantic, amongst other things. Their wedding was an absolute blast! Megan, Kyle and their loved ones were so easy to get along with. The joy at their wedding was contagious. Smiles bounced from face to face as family members, new and old, bathed in the love surrounding these two. Megan planned everything for their romantic garden wedding down to the final detail and it showed. The weather opened up to give us full sun all day with puffs of white clouds passing through the blue sky every few minutes. Their day could not have been any more perfect for the new Mr & Mrs Barjon! I'd love to go on more about this awesome couple, but I feel that their handwritten vows to each other do the trick:

Megan,
I didn't know I loved you for the longest time, but I did know I never wanted to lose you (which probably led to some frustrations later in our relationship but I'm glad you decided to keep me). I believe that we were meant to be standing here today and although we both chose Sienna for sports, it's like we were both led there to start our journey together. I thank God every day for you, and I am truly in awe at what a super woman you are. You are kind, powerful, beautiful, the biggest planner I have ever known, but what I love most about you is your emotions and how easily empathy towards others comes for you. Me on the other hand, I tend to carry none of those qualities, so I think it's safe to say that you complete me.
