It seems like just yesterday, Emily and I were pretending we were young witches attending Hogwarts, riding our bikes around the cul-de-sac and playing house with our American Girl dolls. Now, she’s playing house with this beautiful little girl! Miss Kaylee is an absolute joy (and I could have held her all day, if we are being honest) and has the most beautiful strawberry hair. Not to mention her little “duck lips” and full cheeks! This cutie is already so loved and I can’t wait to watch her grow!

Sweet little Emma is such a beauty! She decided to stay awake and show off those baby blues for her entire session and I’m not mad about it! Mom and dad are already so smitten with her and it is adorable to see the new family interact. I can’t wait to see how she changes between now and her 12 month baby milestone session next summer!

To say I was excited to meet sweet little Oliver is a huge understatement. After having captured so many important milestones for his parents over the years, I am thrilled I get to capture his milestones too. This is my favorite part of what I do. Following a couple from engagement to their wedding day and then capturing their growing family throughout the years is what makes my job so rewarding. This oh so special newborn session was absolutely beautiful! The simplistic styling helped to really emphasize Oliver’s bright eyes and inquisitive looks. Megan and Kris have taken to parenting so well and seeing them with Oliver makes it hard to remember what they were like without him in their lives. This little family is going to have so much fun together as Oliver grows and comes into his own. I can’t wait to see them again for his 12 month milestone!

Kara and Nate have prayed for this little boy and his is absolute perfection! Years ago, Michael and I captured this sweet couple’s engagement session and wedding day so when they reached out about capturing their first child, I was ecstatic! When they came into my studio for his newborn session, I caught baby fever and I could have held this darling boy all day! He is an absolute doll and I cannot wait to watch him grow!

Sweet little Charlie has arrived and she is absolute perfection! Although dad did his best to keep her awake, she ended up snoozing for us here and there throughout her session. Michael and Jessie already look like pros even though this is their first baby and it was so much fun to see these two old friends jumping feet first into their new roles. I absolutely loved hearing all of the stories from Charlie’s first couple weeks outside the bump! They’ve gone from a (friendly) home invasion to doting uncles, proving this little girl already has a strong circle of love encompassing her. I can’t wait to see how she grows! Until then, I’ll reminisce on the sweet snuggles we shared throughout her newborn photography session.
