Becoming a mother, putting this tiny human's life ahead of your own, is such a beautiful thing. I love going on this journey with my mommy-to-be's. Capturing the pure emotion and love you hold for your sweet babe is more than special, it is unique. Of course, I get attached and excited alongside you so when that phone call or text comes through telling me that you are in labor or baby has just arrived, I am beside myself with excitement to meet your little one. Before the your little darling arrives, let's have some fun with that adorable belly! After you have given birth to your babe, I offer a boatload of sessions so you don't miss any important monumental moments. From the announcement of your pregnancy, the reveal of the gender(s), the immortalization of your time with a bump, their little self during their first few weeks of life and all of their milestones leading up to their first birthday cake smash, I have you covered! Overall, the journey of motherhood is one of my favorites to capture. I hope I get the pleasure of capturing yours!

Kat’s In-Home Studio in Noblesville

Natural Light Studio: I utilize soft, natural light in my studio because it is so fresh and relaxing compared to large lights and flashes. Plus, it’s beauty is unmatched!
Big Comfy Couch: My oversized cream linen sofa beside a wall of windows is perfect for sleepy parents to relax on as well as the best spot to get photos with little siblings thanks to it’s depth.
Outfits and Props: I am constantly collecting more and more airy outfits for littles 0-18 months and props to include in my studio sessions. For the most part, props are minimal and outfits are simple so the focus remains on the people and personalities.
Styling Assistance: Before your sessions begin, I will send outfit recommendations. I always encourage my Mamas to text me photos of what they are considering if they would like a second opinion! For studio sessions, I will pull outfits for your little one 0-18 months based on their currecnt age and the season.
Soothing Music: When babes come into the studio, I always have my Spotify playlists ready with soothing tunes! This helps to keep the babes calm and (hopefully) will help put newborns to sleep! I also have my handy Baby Shusher going on a loop to help us out!
Products: Each of my galleries are linked to a professional printing lab where my clients can orer a wide array of products from prints and canvases to albums!
Convenient Location: Our neighborhood is just minutes from US 37 in Noblesville. So far, we haven't had anyone get lost trying to find us! The studio is on the first floor so there are no stairs to climb.
Neutral Decor: Soft white walls, bamboo hardwood floors with matching drapes make our modern, beachy setting perfect for airy portraits.
Posing Style: My posing is very natural. When posing parents and kiddos, I love to have them interact for true, honest moments. I capture baby-led posing which means I allow the baby, from newborn through each milestone, to direct the shoot. If they are swaddled and want an arm out, we will get that arm out for them! If they need to explore a little before settling into the set, that is completely fine! I never want to push a client or baby into anything they don’t want to do so that the experience is fun and as relaxing as possible.
