Who will book your flights, hotel, etc?

We will! You don’t need the added stress of booking our travel accommodations. We always make our own travel plans and always try to stay at the same location as you when traveling abroad if possible. We will ask your travel plans and if you have a special code you would like us to use at your resort. Once everything is booked, we will let you know our own travel plans in an itinerary that lists our flight numbers, take off and landing times, as well as any other information we feel you should know.

Are travel fees really included in the investment?

Yes! We have dedicated special discounted pricing to our destination couples so that we have enough to invest on the travel accommodations. Now, if your wedding is at a resort with a higher than average nightly rate or the flights to your location are over a certain amount than we factored in, we will touch base with you on additional travel fees.

When are payments due?

We require 50% of the investment paid up front as a retainer to hold your date on our calendar, along with a signed digital contract. The remaining amount can be broken up into equal monthly installments or paid in full no later than three months prior to the wedding. We will not book travel accommodations until the remainder is submitted. All payments are made through Square invoices that arrive via email.

Will 6 hours be enough time?

90% of the time 6 hours is plenty of coverage time for a destination wedding! Even here at home, 6 hours is the most popular choice among our couples and I always work with our brides on building the best wedding day timeline to make sure everything important is covered!

Can you help me find my other vendors?

Absolutely! I am tied into so many amazing wedding communities and have worked with vendors all over the world so I have an awesome list of people you can look to for any other needs! I am happy to search for new recommendations based on your location as well!

I may need help with the design and little details. Can you help me?

Yes! I am a hands on photographer and a true creative with an art degree so I am always happy to help with styling recommendations! At least half our brides ask for my opinion on the details so don’t be shy! I’m an open book and happy to help!

What if the weather on my wedding day is full on thunderstorms?

We power through! What’s nice is since we will be blocking out a handful of days to travel with you, we can possibly do a special portrait session the next day if the entire wedding day was a wash. Out of all the weddings we have photographed though, we have not had to do this because there is always a break in the rain!

Do you work from a shot list?

Yes and no. We focus our attention on what is happening around us so that we can capture honest moments for you to look back on. Portrait time with us is a breeze as we will have you moving and nuzzling so much so that you won’t even feel like you’re getting your picture taken! It would not be beneficial to you if we were constantly looking down at a shot list because it would take away from your overall experience. We do ask for a list of your family photo groupings in our pre-wedding questionnaire that we send out about a month prior to the big day.

What can we expect to see in our final gallery?

A lot of love! The love between you two, your family and friends in attendance (unless eloping), and the love we put into photographing and editing your images. When traveling, we take a lot of extra landscape photos so you can remember this special place when you return home. All of those little details that surrounded you and the styling you worked so hard to piece together. Our galleries are always overflowing with images so that you get all of the best images to look back on for years to come.
