Our Philosophy

We believe that images should be natural, romantic and timeless. Our main goal is to capture your love story and the events of your wedding day in as natural a way as possible so that your emotions are pure and real. We have a very simplistic approach to our posing since we have you focus more on each other than our cameras. Our editing style is designed to match classic film so that your images remain timeless as the years pass.

The Process

1. Initial Meeting & Answering of Your Questions

2. Online Contract and Square Invoice for 50% of Package (remainder due one month prior to wedding)

3. After the contract and deposit are received, we will send you a link to a ton of wedding inspiration as well as our favorite vendors!

4. Engagement and/or Boudoir Session & Planning Help (I’m happy to help you with all aspects of your day)

5. Final Timeline Meeting (where we chat about a month prior to iron out all the details and perfect or build your timeline) & Final Payment (one month prior)

6. Wedding Day!

7. Blog Post Sneak Peek of Our Favorites (usually within 7 days from the wedding date)

8. Final Editing & Delivery via Pixieset Gallery Online

9. Gallery print orders are open for you and your loved ones! Albums can be designed one on one with Kat anytime after images are delivered.

10. Optional Discounted First Anniversary Session! Seriously guys, this is definitely something you will want to do! It’s the best way to kick off a date night to celebrate your first year of marriage!

Engagements

We are more than willing to travel for engagement sessions! We actually love it when our couples ask us to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! But, if you didn’t already have something in mind, we have various tried and true spots for the wild at heart and the concrete jungle lovers! We book engagement sessions 2-6 months in advance and 30 miles of travel from Noblesville, IN are included. We do offer international and state-side destination engagement sessions as well. If you have booked a wedding package with us, then all you would add investment-wise would be travel fees for us to meet you where your heart is leading! If a location you have in mind has permitting fees for photography sessions, that would be covered by you but we will submit the form for the permit.

US & International Destination Weddings & Elopements / Weddings Outside of Indiana

We capture weddings all over the state of Indiana as well as at wedding venues and private locations world wide! Destination/out of state weddings are some of our favorites because we love a good adventure!  If you are local to us, you are welcome to schedule an engagement session with us. If you are not local, we will block out some time while we are traveling with you so we can adventure and get some fun shots of you two taking in this beautiful location!

We especially love traveling to locations that allow us the option of spending time with loved ones! Some areas outside of Indiana that we cater to with possible lower travel rates are in/around these locations:
Seattle, WA | Houston, TX | Most parts of Michigan, Tennessee and Florida

We will travel to most areas world wide but we do have a little bucket list! Here are some of the locations we would love to photograph weddings at:

Digital Files

We average 50-100 edited images per hour that we shoot. We select the best digital images from the wedding day and edit them in both color as well as black and white. Any film scans we receive back will be uploaded to the gallery in the format and coloration they were captured in (ex: black and white images only if shot on black and white film or color images only if shot on color film). We love delivering our client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. We believe in freely sharing our work because that is what we would want if we were in your shoes! We only ask that you and your friends/family credit us when sharing images on social media.

Prints & Albums

We offer a wide variety of printing options within each gallery. When you are ready to build a custom album for yourself and/or your loved ones, we will set up a meeting to customize it to your specifications. If you love prints and would like a keepsake box filled with your favorite memories, we also offer handmade wooden boxes in various stains and sizes to fill with prints.

KM Approved Associate Photographers

If for some reason we are not able to capture your day, we will turn to our trained and trusted associate photographers to capture it on our behalf. Each associate we hire is a skilled lead wedding photographer with years worth of photographing weddings under their belts. We would trust each and every one of them with capturing our own wedding day. Katerina still handles all of the editing, consultations, etc. For those selecting our Bespoke package, you will have an associate photographer capturing your rehearsal dinner unless Katerina is available to photograph it herself.

Professionalism & Our Track Record

We, along with every photographer we hire, holds a high respect for wedding days. Most likely, we will be dressed in black or neutral tones. Our clothing is always comfortable, functional and professional to keep us moving throughout the many hours of your big day while blending in with your guests. We are efficient and effective in our work to guarantee a beautiful gallery of images to remember the best day of your lives. We love when other vendors appreciate working as a team to curate a brilliant event, which is why we provide a list of our preferred vendors that have proven to hold that same ideal. Every review we have received from brides, their loved ones and their vendors has been glowing and detailed—warming our hearts while proving our trustworthiness when it comes to capturing renowned events.

Coverage Time

If you are not sure how many hours you need us on your wedding day, we are happy to sketch out a rough timeline with you to get an idea of which package would be the best for what you are planning. About one to two months prior to the wedding day, we will sit down for a final planning meeting where we will go over your final timeline. If for some reason you end up needing more time with us because your original plans have changed, we can add additional hours to your time with us by adding the fees per hour to your final invoice (due one month prior to the wedding). We are very up front with our couples about if we think they need more time or not. We want to make sure everything important is captured before we leave. If for some reason you need more time with us on the wedding day, in the case you had a holdup that pushed the timeline back or for any other reason, we are happy to stay longer. In that circumstance, we will take a payment for the additional coverage time prior to leaving via Square. Wedding days are blocked off from all other sessions so we are available for additional time just in case plans change! Due to our awesome timeline planning and time management on the wedding day, we have yet to have a couple add additional time day of!

Each additional hour of coverage is $500

Our Shooting Style

We love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when we will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you won't even notice that we are there. We teach our couples how to pose, model and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don’t need quite as much instruction from us! We always love utilizing the venue you have chosen so we will make sure your personal couple portraits are unique! We can describe our style in three simple words: Dreamy, Romantic, Timeless. Dreamy because we capture our work in a very light and airy fashion. While we still love a moody shot every now and then, our main work consistency conveys a dream-like charm. Romantic because we love having our clients interact with one another in a more candid fashion while they are posed in an intimate stance. The knowing smiles and scrunched noses from giddy giggles are our favorite element to capture. Timeless because our work is classic and elegant, two things that will stay in style for eternity. We love shooting film photography as well as digital photography so we do our best to match our digital work to our film work. Film is timeless, with it's soft coloration and beautiful textures, emulating the essence of forever.

Booking

Once we have answered any questions you may have and you have decided that our Wedding Experience is exactly what you’re looking for on your wedding day, the next steps are quick and easy. We will send you an email with a link to our virtual contract as well as a separate email from Square with the link to pay your 50% retainer fee. The final payment will be due no later than one month prior to the wedding date. As for how soon you should book with us, we recommend booking ASAP so that your date does not get booked by someone else. Even if you are years away from your wedding day, we cannot stress enough the importance of solidifying us as your photographers sooner rather than later.
