Having been an active assistant/substitute teacher for Montessori preschools nearby the past 10+ years, it is no surprise that I love working with kiddos! When I first started photography, my main focus was working with children and families. I always enjoy urging kiddos to be themselves during sessions. Yes, we will get those standard “smile for the camera photos” but we will also make sure it is a fun experience for everyone involved by allowing the kids to get some of that energy out throughout the session. I’ve found that you have to give them a little freedom to get those images filled with true smiles and joy.
