Chelsea and Kyle planned an elegant wedding at The Carmichael Hotel in Carmel, Indiana. They selected simplistic details with a large emphasis on stunning white florals and touches of gold to compliment the venue’s dreamy design. As soon as I heard their plans, I said this was my kind of wedding! Seeing it all put together on the wedding day did not disappoint! Chelsea was absolutely stunning in her off the shoulder gown. The breeze loved catching her veil—and, obviously, I was here for it. If there’s one thing to know about me, it is that I am obsessed with billowing veils! She and her ladies popped some champagne before slipping into their dresses and we gabbed about Bravo’s housewives (her shoes are so Dorit!) for a bit. Kyle wore a classic black suit with a fun floral tie as an extra pop! Everyone in attendance was so thrilled to be present with them on this special day and no matter where we looked, everyone was smiling. We had so much fun working with these lovebirds and hope they have enjoyed their honeymoon in Sedona, Arizona!

Back in 2011, Carmel High School buds, Bethany and Alex exchanged yearbooks. In Alex’s, Bethany wrote, “see you at my wedding.” Little did she know at the time that Alex would be the groom! These two have such a cute story and I am SO glad that Bethany had napkins made from her exact writing in that yearbook because Alex lost it as soon as he saw them! Their day was filled with so much joy and it was an absolute honor to capture these special memories for them. Their wedding at the Omni Severin Hotel in downtown Indianapolis was elegant and classic. Warm gold tones, white, black and emerald green were utilized to compliment both the interior and exterior of the historic building. To top off their evening, we captured their sunset photos underneath the marquise and it was super romantic. We hope these two enjoy married life!

Here’s to Mr & Mrs Petersen!

Missy & Alex held their big day a year after they had originally planned and it was fabulous! Their family and friends had so much fun celebrating their love and the weather was perfection! The sunny blue skies transitioned into a beautiful hue of orange that complimented the industrial chic building of Canal 337. The couple selected some colorful flower bushes and potted them to display for their ceremony before transferring them into their garden at home. This was the first time we had seen a couple do this and we LOVE this idea! What an awesome way to incorporate your wedding day at home with living reminders in the garden you look at daily. Missy wore a gorgeous dress covered in delicate floral lace—matching the precious stones of Alex’s grandmother’s ring that had been made into an earring and necklace set for Missy’s 30th birthday. This wedding was filled with so much love, faith and fun. It was such a pleasure to work with these two! We hope they are able to plan their dream trip to Southeast Asia very soon!

Zoe and Lyubo have been awaiting their big day for a while! Due to them both having loved ones living overseas, they had to reschedule their wedding twice due to COVID travel restrictions. They were finally able to celebrate while surrounded by so much love from their friends and family! Our favorite part of their day had to be the heartfelt toasts given by those that know them best. It was truly an honor to capture their wedding day and experience such a love-filled event. Not to mention, their families were some of the kindest people that treated us like family the entire day. Their wedding at the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis was simplistic and dreamy. The sun was bright overhead while butterflies floated about the gardens. It was the perfect day for these two. We hope these newlyweds enjoyed their time in town before heading back to their home out East!

On a warm summer day, surrounded by all of their closest friends and family, Lexy and Sean got married! To say these two looked outstanding is an understatement. Their classic styling complimented their simplistic decor and both locations that hosted their big day so perfectly. Sean and his family are very proud of their Irish heritage and he decided to surprise Lexy with a bagpipe performer for the start of dinner hour! That was such a cool addition that made us feel like we had been transported into Outlander! Overall, we had an absolute blast working with them and their loved ones! Their bridal party was a total hoot and these two have such fun, laidback personalities. We hope they enjoyed every moment of their honeymoon in Hawaii!
