Cody and Hannah are a match made in Heaven and anyone who saw Hannah on their wedding day can attest to the fact that she looked truly angelic. I even noticed while editing their preview that she radiated SO much of a glow! Her Martina Liana dress looked like true perfection as the appliqué on the train trailed trough the fall leaves. The combo was absolutely breathtaking. I completely adored the little details they included such as the wooden vow boxes and handmade garter Hannah wore that was made from her mother’s wedding dress. The pops of cabernet and dark blue they chose for their bridal party complimented their fall surroundings perfectly as well. Overall, it was a beautiful day filled with so much joy and laughter. Not to mention that hoppin’ dance floor they were enjoying after all the important segments had passed! We hope these two have enjoyed their first week of married life!

Here’s to Mr & Mrs Flaa!

The night before Lizzy and Luke were to be married at their home church in Carmel, IN, their photographer ended up in the hospital. I got a call from Luke’s aunt asking if we were available and it just so happened to be our one October opening! A few minutes later, I was chatting with Luke and Lizzy, learning all about the intimate wedding ceremony they were planning. The next day, we met this sweet couple and jumped right into capturing their beautiful day just as if they had been on our calendar for a year! It was such a perfect day, filled with light and a soft fall breeze. We are thrilled we were available to capture this special time in their lives. We hope these two have been enjoying their first couple weeks of married life!

Mallory and Seth’s fall wedding may have felt more like late summer, but it was still absolute perfection! There was a light breeze that stuck around all day, complimenting the warm sun as well as their stunning portraits. Mallory was truly radiant and seeing Seth’s face during their first look was extremely special to be a part of. He was beside himself! It was adorable! We had such a great time working with these two. They are prime examples of how you want to just “go with the flow” on your wedding day because things will happen that are out of your control but you can’t dwell on them. It was wonderful to see them embrace all of the best moments of their big day, no matter what! We hope these two have enjoyed their honeymoon in Charleston, South Carolina and Lexington, Kentucky!

Any wedding day that includes delicate heirlooms has my heart. For instance, Jennie’s beautiful handmade gold coin bracelet, which has been worn by all the women in her family on their wedding day. This small detail holds such a unique story that I am thrilled her mother shared it with me. Along with the heirlooms, Jennie did not miss a single small detail in her planning. Walking into the Garden Pavilion at the Ritz Charles was like stepping into a fairytale. The classic affair was romantic and dreamy as can be. JT and his fellas looked slick in their “James Bond” classic black tuxes. Jennie was a VISION and truly walked on air thanks to how much joy was radiating from her. Seeing the way JT looks at her and the way she can’t help but smile when surrounded by him and her loved ones was truly special. These two have been such a joy to work with and after meeting their families, it is obvious as to why they are such good humans. We hope these two have enjoyed their switched up honeymoon in Mexico and that they get a chance to go on that European adventure soon!

Kenwyn & Nate | A Dreamy Wedding at Saint Joan of Arc Followed by a Romantic Garden Reception at the Indianapolis Art Center | International Destination Wedding Photographers

Here’s to Mr & Mrs Butler!

Kenwyn and Nate had originally planned their wedding to be held at the start of summer but, even with the postponement, they had the most perfect day! Not only was there no cloud in sight, but there was a light breeze that coincides with September wedding days. Kenwyn looked absolutely radiant and was the definition of a glowing bride. Nate, who was extremely proud of his slick blue tux, looked like her true Prince Charming. It was easy to see how loved they are by each person who was in attendance, especially their super fun bridal party. Before our time with them ended, Kenwyn dedicated the song “Shout” to her late father and every guest had a blast dancing with her and Nate. Seeing the joy encompassing them during that song was one of my favorite moments from their day. We hope these two are enjoying their honeymoon in Michigan!
