Here’s to Mr & Mrs Varab!

What a wedding to end our 2019 season on! When we met Maria and Josh at Starbucks for our initial meeting, we knew it was a match made in heaven. We bonded over "cringe-worthy” moments and the Office, so obviously we were meant to be. When they shared that their wedding was going to be Christmas themed, I couldn’t wait to see which way they were going to take it. Fast forward to this past Saturday at the Conrad Indianapolis—what a timeless and elegant soiree they put together! From the custom Christmas ornaments given to each of their guests that were handmade by the bride and groom to their candlelight service, this wedding blew my expectations of their vision out of the water! We had such a wonderful time with them and their loved ones as we ran through their day together. I should also mention, that Maria and Josh BOTH rocked the house with drum performances at their reception in the Artsgarden! Maria started taking lessons to surprise Josh (a drummer) with this special performance—it was AWESOME! We hope these two enjoy their first Christmas together as husband and wife!

Kaitie & Ryan | A Private Island Beach Wedding at Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau, Bahamas | International Destination Wedding Photographers in Indianapolis

Here’s to Mr & Mrs Gold!

Kaitie and Ryan’s wedding day was such a dream! When these two lovebirds booked with us, they hadn’t selected a date or location yet. I had sent them a list of venues around Indy that represented what they were envisioning for their big day. Then, one night, Michael and I were sitting on the couch chatting about how we would love to go to Nassau so we could go to the pirate museum and see all the history (we are huge history buffs and love pirate history especially). About an hour later, I looked to see a new message from Kaitie where she was letting me know that they had decided to book Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau for their wedding! What a crazy amazing coincidence! I couldn’t stop laughing because it was just too unreal!

Fast forward to our trip away with them. We had such a wonderful time with them and their loved ones. The resort was beautiful, the people in town were friendly (yes, we went to the pirate museum!) and the scenery was just unbelievably gorgeous. This is definitely going on the list of locations we would happily go back to! What made their wedding even more fabulous? THAT DRESS! I mean…can you even handle that gorgeous train on this immaculate beach? Because I can’t! To top it all off, there was a beautiful rainbow that came out during their ceremony and some amazing storm clouds rolling in at sunset. Overall, we had so much fun and hope to work with this fun couple on their future milestones!

Colleen and Chris have been so much fun to work with and I can’t believe their wedding day has already come and gone. Since the weather was in a full downpour all day (which is good luck!), their guests were extra happy they had selected a beautiful indoor location! Amanda & Brian | Simplistic and Elegant Wedding at the Conrad in Downtown Indy | Indianapolis Wedding Photographers

Here’s to Mr & Mrs Greemann!

We had such a blast working with Amanda and Brian on their wedding day in downtown Indianapolis last Saturday! These two were all smiles, especially after their stunning first look in the Conrad owner’s private suite. We can’t wait to share images from that moment because the views of Indianapolis from the balcony were spectacular and these two were over the moon! We adored all of their simple, yet elegant, details. The venue is so luxurious that it truly doesn’t need much added to the space and they took note of that in their preparations. Overall, the day was perfect—just like this sweet couple! Did I mention that their letters to each other were almost identical? Ha! They are definitely meant to be and we are so honored we were able to be a part of their wedding journey! We hope these two have enjoyed their honeymoon in Barbados!
