When we got home from last Saturday’s wedding, we went straight to bed, as we usually do. But before turning out the light, I looked at the weather forecast for the morning and lots of rain was heading our way—again. I fell asleep with a little prayer for a clear morning so that Courtney and Tanner could enjoy saying their vows at beautiful Coxhall Gardens in Carmel, Indiana. Needless to say, we were shocked to wake up to a gorgeous, sunny morning. What a dream! I am so glad the weather worked out perfectly for Courtney and Tanner’s special day. These two wrote their own vows and read them aloud in front of Tanner’s daughter, two of their friends and us. This is why we love elopements so much—they are so romantic and relaxed. This was a great way to spend Race Day in Indy! We wish these two nothing but a life full of love and light and we hope to work with them on all of their future milestones!

Luck was definitely on Stephanie and Brody’s sides last weekend! The day started off with dark thunderstorms rolling through but shockingly, and against what the radar was saying, opened up to full sun just in time for their outdoor ceremony! Not another drop of rain fell the rest of the day and they were blessed with a truly gorgeous golden hour later in the evening. We have loved working with Stephanie and Brody on this journey to their wedding day and we hope we get to work with them through all of life’s milestones! The wedding they dreamed up was elegant and romantic paired with a rustic barn on a plot of land surrounded by farms. They truly had one of the best days, even with all of the insane weather changes! We hope these two have been enjoying their honeymoon in Riviera Maya!

Megan + Kris | Elegant and Romantic Garden Soiree at Historic Tryon Palace in New Bern, North Carolina | Indianapolis Destination Wedding Photographers

Here’s to Mr & Mrs Fuller!

To say the Fuller wedding was stunning would be a total understatement. Megan and Kris dreamed up such a gorgeous wedding day for their southern destination wedding to New Bern, North Carolina (the home of Pepsi Cola) from Indianapolis. Tryon Palace has such impeccable gardens and beautiful, historic structures that it was the perfect spot to host their elegant garden soiree. As their photographers, we loved capturing every minute of this romantic day and hope we get to return to this beautiful venue! These two and their loved ones were truly wonderful to work with. Our favorite moment would have to be when they read their letters before the ceremony. Both exclaimed “I wrote that in my letter” at one point and got misty. Seeing how much they love each other and are total soulmates was so special. Icing on the cake? Megan and her Delta Gamma sisters demanded a photo with me as we were leaving because she shared with them that I was a sister too! It was one of those days that made me leave in happy tears thanks to Megan’s sweet words during our goodbyes. We truly have the BEST couples! We hope these two have been enjoying their honeymoon in Bali and Singapore!

Jill + Matt | A Classic and Romantic Wedding at the Biltwell Event Center in Indianapolis, IN | International Destination Elopement Photographers

We could not have kicked off our 2019 wedding season in a better way! Spending the day with Jill and Matt was so much fun! We already knew after their windy engagement session in Chicago that we would have a great time with them. When we were saying goodbye at the end of the night, these two successfully got me all choked up! We truly loved every minute of working with this sweet couple and are beyond excited to share some of our favorite images from their classic and romantic wedding at the Biltwell Event Center in downtown Indianapolis, IN! These two designed their day around the venue and it was perfection! They chose an elegant white and black affair with small hints of gold and fresh greenery. Their vendor team was an all star cast and we could not be more thankful for the opportunity to work beside such rockstars! Although the weather was rainy and gray, that did not stop us from heading outside for their portraits—and it was MAGIC! As I always say, never say no to photos outside, even if it looks completely gross in person. The wind in your hair is ALWAYS worth it in the end! Jill looked absolutely stunning (as always) while Matt looked truly dapper in his classic black tux. Together, they made one super dreamy bridal couple! We hope these two have enjoyed their time away before heading back to the Gold Coast!

Lauren and Nick created a romantic wedding at the Horizon Convention Center in Muncie, IN. For the main bridal party portraits, we ventured to a few locations throughout Muncie, including Ball State University’s beautiful campus. The fall colors were perfection while the mature trees had left a sprinkling of leaves throughout the grounds. Needless to say, it was the perfect spot that gave us all the Outlander/Scottish vibes!
