Lyndsey + Andrew | Dreamy Winter Engagement with Snow | Carmel, IN

Sunday morning, we set out to one of our favorite parks in Carmel, IN to meet Lyndsey and Andrew for their engagement session! It was freezing cold but so extremely dreamy with all of the snow and soft morning light. This session was worth every minute of getting numb because we left with stunning images of these two lovebirds! We had such a great time getting to know them and seeing how they interact--one of our favorite things to do with our clients prior to their wedding day. They were so sweet and definitely have a love that we can't wait to explore more in the months leading up to their big day! Until then, we will just have to drool over these adorable, snowy winter images of their engagement!

Audrey + Hunter | Dreamy Boho Chic Wedding | The Montage - Indianapolis, IN

Here's to Mr & Mrs Rucklos!

We ended our 2017 wedding season with a BANG! Audrey and Hunter were our twentieth wedding of the year...phew!...and boy was it beautiful! They had a traditional wedding with no first look and a beautiful catholic ceremony at St. Louis de Montfront in Fishers, IN. After the "I do's" were exchanged, the party started at the Montage in Indianapolis, IN. They lucked out with a wonderful sunny day in the middle of December--making for some insane golden hour portraits! Their color pallet was an array of neutrals with a pop of navy on the fellas. Audrey wore a gorgeous lace layered gown that speaks to her bohemian soul. Her bride tribe was nothing short of stunning in their flowing dresses and wispy hair. Soft white and blush florals adorned their reception as well as the bouquets, adding to the romantic candlelight throughout the reception hall. These two have been so much fun to work with! I can't believe their wedding day has already come and gone. It feels like just yesterday, they were cuddled up on our sofa getting their engagement portraits taken on a gloomy, dark, rainy evening. In reality, it was last year on the night before Thanksgiving! Overall, it was a beautiful day with details to drool over. We hope these two have enjoyed every minute of their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic!

Cooper | A 12 Month Old Cookie Monster | Cake Smash + Milk Bath Breastfeeding Session | Noblesville, IN

"Mom! Ooper is ucky! You need to clean him, Mom!" -Payton

Cooper is a cookie gobbling, milk chugging ball of adorableness! I adore him and his amazing family so much! We first met Tanna on her wedding day when we arrived to capture her love story! After that, we have captured her maternity, her sweet family, Payton's 12 month cake smash, Cooper's newborn session and now his cake smash and milk bath with his mama! We could not be more thrilled to have this seriously beautiful family in our lives. They never cease to bring us laughter and joy at each session. Michael even made a special appearance on his lunch break from work so he could share a cupcake with Payton--aka his best friend. This session was filled with Payton pulling out every prop possible as well as asking me to pick her up so she could see the bunny in the other room while Cooper cried big fat crocodile tears whenever there wasn't a cookie in his hand. As you will see in the photos, the cake only lasted so long before he grabbed the cookies again! After getting cleaned up, Tanna and Cooper took to our bathtub for a milk bath breastfeeding session. Not pictured: Payton blowing a deflated balloon into the tub every five seconds and asking me to fish it out for her with "Ugh! I can't reach! Errrghhh!" Ha! I wasn't sure how our new home would be fore milk bath sessions but I'm glad we did it because it looks beautiful! Going into the new year, I will be reopening my milk bath session options! Overall, it was a fun-filled two hours that I will cherish as I continue to watch these kiddos grow. I will say it again, just for Tanna and Daniel's eye-rolling pleasure...they make cute babies.

Mom wouldn't "clean up ucky Ooper" so Payton took it upon herself to grab a wipe and clean his face. I had to include this little behind the scenes for you all because we were all rolling laughing!

Jackie and Paul celebrated their romantic soft white wedding at the Montage in Indianapolis, IN. Their decor design consisted of soft white florals, candlelight and burgundy accents . They were surrounded by their closest family members and friends to help them celebrate in this joyous occasion. This wedding is close to our hearts because Jackie and Paul have become more than just clients, they have become good friends. Paul actually works with Michael and made the connection that he and Jackie had contacted me about having us cover their wedding prior to them starting their new positions over the summer! Such a small world! When their fur baby, Murphy arrived at the Montage, I was so excited! I finally was able to meet the infamous Murph! He was just as cute and sweet in person as they have described him. He means so much to these two so we are thrilled that he was able to share in their day with them. I can't wait to see his sweet face again!

Kalya and Zach celebrated their winter wonderland wedding day at the industrial Biltwell Event Center in Indianapolis, IN.
